Australia have named a fourteen-man squad for the upcoming two-Test series against Pakistan starting next week. Joe Burns and Cameron Bancroft have returned to contention for a Test spot, while top-order batsman Usman Khawaja has been dropped due to a poor run in the Ashes earlier this year and an inconsistent start to the domestic season.

West Indies middle-order batsman Nicholas Pooran has been for four T20 internationals on being found guilty of tampering the ball during the recently concluded third ODI against Afghanistan. Former New Zealand off-spinner Jeetan Patel will be assisting the visiting England spinners during the national team's tour of his own country next month. Patel will link up with the England squad on their arrival in Christchurch next week with the tour commencing with a five-match T20 series from November 1.
