The first leg of the tour will feature the three T20s from January 24 to 27, with all matches to take place at Lahore. Bangladesh arrive next in February, when they play the first Test from February 7 at Rawalpindi with the third and final coming for the second Test and the one-off ODI at Karachi.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held entirely in Pakistan, marking the separation between the second and third parts of the tour. This resolves a long stand-off between the two boards, both unwilling to relent from their positions. The PCB asserted Pakistan's cricket safety post-Sri Lanka's recent peaceful visit, featuring two Tests. They also highlighted Bangladesh cricketers' readiness for PSL matches in Pakistan, contrasting their reluctance for international tours. Meanwhile, the BCB awaited government clearance before confirming arrangements.

PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani expressed his pleasure at the outcome and thanked ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar for helping facilitate the tour. "I am pleased that we have amicably achieved a resolution that is in the best interest of this great sport as well as both the proud cricket-playing countries", he said.
