England T20I squad: Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonathan Bairstow, Jos Buttler, Pat Brown, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Joe Denly, Chris Jordan, Dawid Malan, Matt Parkinson, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes and Mark Wood.
The ODI squad also includes fast bowler Chris Jordan, who last played an ODI in 2016, and is also a very handy lower-order batsman. Dawid Malan and left-arm seamer Sam Curran have also returned to the side, with the latter benefiting from the absence of rested Mark Wood and Liam Plunkett, both members of England's World Cup-winning team at home in July, apart from Jordan.
The rest of the faces remain similar in the spinning duo of Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid, openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow, middle-order batsmen Eoin Morgan and Joe Root, and all-rounder Chris Woakes. Root failed to find a place in the T20 side, however, with indications that England may be moving on from their senior batsman with the World T20 less than a year away. Ed Smith, England's national selector, stated that he selected these two squads with an eye on the T20 World Cup in Australia in 2020
