T20I squad:
Virat Kohli (c), Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, Deepak Chahar, Shikhar Dhawan, Shivam Dube, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant (wk), KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav

From the squad that recently beat Bangladesh 2-1 in the T20 series, all three of Khaleel Ahmed, Shardul Thakur and Krunal Pandya have been left out, while wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson and leg-spinner Rahul Chahar, who remained unused, have also not been retained. Ravindra Jadeja takes Krunal's place in the side, with Shami - who last played a T20 international in 2017 - covering up for the pacers. However, as seen since the World Cup, MS Dhoni remains missing from limited-overs squads.

India host West Indies for three T20s and ODIs each starting December 6, with the first game of the series at Mumbai and the tour concluding with the final ODI at Cuttack on December 22.
